Market Recap
The rally from last week off lows continued this week, with SPY gaining 4%, QQQ up 5.4% and IWM adding just under 3%. CPI was the headline heading into the week on Wednesday, but it ends up that the outcome of PPI on Tuesday is what, at least initially, sparked the surge higher.
Our Overall Performance - Big Picture
Strategies continue to perform in a stable and predictable manner, with solid winning week ratios and profit factors and on weeks that do lose, being very manageable and well within the confines of our modeled risk metrics.

Our Performance this Week
Somewhat a mixed bag, with Pure Alpha and Hedge Fusion coming in just above the breakeven mark (slightly up), and Futures Focus and the two Gamma Nova strategies being down slightly. Considering they were positioned more for downside, the nominal losses are fine and part of the game. Sometimes we will be on the wrong side of the market, but we generally are positioned to mitigate most if not all of the losses when skewed like this.

The Week Ahead
Not a lot of econ data this week, but FOMC minutes on Wednesday and now the recent market mover Jobless Claims on Thursday could juice the markets a bit. At least for now, and in terms of weekly context, our data indicates a slight bullish bias for the Gamma Nova strategies. The other three we will enter the week fresh and see what the market and price action dictates versus our models.
